Wilson City park Restoration project
Phase One
During the summer the City of Wilson approached Ms. Lively, the art teacher, about having students paint the picnic tables at the park to help them feel a stronger connection to the community and help bring some exciting changes to the park. Ms. Lively accepted and began to prepare for the first art class that Wilson ISD saw in a long time and the first ever art class she taught. Since school has been in session the students have gotten into groups and sketched drafts to show the City Council. As of November 4th painting had begun. The students are working very hard to get their designs painted before it gets too cold, and despite the wind they have been very successful. Pictures will be loaded as each table is complete.
